The Veldt

1.) Why do Peter and Wendy choose the nursery over their parents? They chose the nursery over the parents because they like it better and go where ever they want. “ this room is their mother and father far more important in their lives then their real parents.” (p.102)
2.) Why have the children moved to “the long, hot African veldt” from “all the delightful contraptions of a make-believe world”? (p. 94, 95) the kids have moved there because there are no rules and they can do what ever they want “the long, hot African veldt” from “all the delightful contraptions of a make-believe world” (p.94, 95)
